Why Give
Montcalm Schools benefit every day from gifts of time, talent and treasure made possible by its students, parents, alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. Giving at Montcalm Schools comes in all forms:
- Students who give a smile in the hallway or a helping hand to students struggling with their treatment plans.
- Families, who elect to provide additional support to each program through gifts to our annual fund, scholarship fund or in honor of their son or daughter.
- Faculty who spend extra time with students who need it and who enhance the classroom experience with learning opportunities, emotional issues and the sincere care and concern that goes above and beyond the regular course of a day.
- Trustees who spend countless hours at meetings and in donating their treasures that help govern our organization.
- Alumni, who return to share their experiences after leaving Montcalm Schools, with current students.
Since 1913, giving is woven into the fabric that is Starr Commonwealth and Montcalm Schools. We give because believe wholeheartedly in our mission; To create positive environments where children flourish. There are many avenues for giving to Montcalm Schools, but our most pressing needs include donations to our annual fund (directed to Montcalm School for Boys or Montcalm School for Girls) and our Scholarship Endowment Fund, to allow more students the opportunity to benefit from our services.
